Exciting opportunity to join a large healthcare organization as a Patient Access Representative! This position does not require any previous healthcare experience!

A Patient Access Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients seeking services at our facility. This role involves assisting patients with scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and ensuring a smooth check-in process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Experience in healthcare is not needed!

Job Description:

• Facilitate all components of the patients' entrance into the facility.
• Completing Patient Registration, including insurance verification and appointment scheduling.
• Handling pre-certification and financial clearance including pre-visit collection.
• Collecting accurate patient data.
• Helping patients understand insurance benefits.
• Educating patients on their financial responsibilities, discussing payment options and assistance, as necessary
• Ensuring that the most accurate patient data/demographics are obtained and populated into the patient record.

Important Training Details:

• Must be able to attend 2 weeks of onboarding/training from 7:45a-4:30p. Week 3 will be your scheduled shift.
