Hiring full time and part time Patient Access Representataives in Des Moines!

Summary:

The Patient Access Representative (PAR) plays a vital role in the patient and family experience, serving as an initial point of contact within our health system. Additionally, the registration activities including securing accurate information, interpreting and communicating patient responsibility and accurate patient identification are essential for the financial and operational success of the organization. The PAR is expected to greet customers with a smile and address customers by name in a courteous, respectful and professional manner; and attempts to resolve customer questions and concerns. Ideal candidates will be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, meet shift expectations and handle challenging customers.

Responsiblities:

  • Greeting patients
  • Verifying demographic and insurance information
  • Obtaining signatures
  • Checking patients in and out
  • Other duties assigned

Shift:

Sunday-Thursday 3pm-11:30pm (Full time)

Friday-Sunday 3pm-11:30pm (Part time)

Required:

HS Diploma or equivalent
