Patient Access Representative

Location: Fountain Valley, CA

Overview: We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Registration/Pre-Registration Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital admitting, physician office operations, or equivalent healthcare experience, with proficiency in insurance verification and exceptional customer service skills.

Position Description: The Registration/Pre-Registration Representative is responsible for completing all registrations of patients presenting for procedures, admissions, or the ER. The Representative must collect and verify demographic and insurance information to ensure accurate patient identification and billing for services. Excellent customer service must be maintained with all patients and co-workers. This position requires a full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of the organization.

Experience:

• 1+ year of experience in admitting, registration, patient access, or similar roles
• Strong customer service skills
• Comfortable dealing with critical patients in a stressful environment
• COVID-19 vaccination required

Schedule/Shift:

• 4x10s
• Monday (6:30 pm - 5:00 am)
• Thursday/Friday/Saturday (4:00 pm - 2:30 am)
• 30-minute break each shift
