Job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Patient Access Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our members and providers. This is a ONSITE position and applicants must reside in nearby area.

Specific Duties:

Scheduling
Answering questions regarding insurance and eligibility
Referrals and Auths will go to a different team
Send patient messages to MA through My Chart
Handle 55 calls/day

Must-Have Qualifications/:

Minimum of 2 year of experience

Healthcare experience working within a call center environment

Knowledge of claims processes, eligibility, and payment methodologies (FFS vs CAP)

Understanding of HMOs and experience with heavy call volume

Familiarity with the authorization/referral process

Work Schedule:

Shift Start/End Time: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Work Location:

ONSITE position; candidates must reside in Riverside area or nearby area.

Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle a high volume of calls efficiently

Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities

Proficient in using relevant computer applications and systems
