Job description
Medix is hiring for a Part Time Medical Receptionist in the Liberty/Gladstone area! 28 Hours per week! You will be aligned to a doctor and a medical assistant and work as a team together! Great opportunity for growth within!
Overview:
- Check patients in and out on arrival
- Make patient appointments, collect payments for copays
- Responsible for answering phone calls (The Liberty location that they will be at Wed - Fri is the main and busiest location, so the phones ring quite a bit)
- Prepare for Patient's appointments by gathering any necessary paperwork prior to patient arrival
- Calling into Pharmacies when necessary
Schedule: Monday - OFF, Tuesday- 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM (Gladstone), Wednesday: 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM (Liberty), Thursday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM (Liberty), Friday: 7:45 AM - 1:00 PM (Liberty)
Location: Gladstone & Liberty Clinics
Education: HS Diploma (Required)
Experience:
- Customer Service (required)
- Medical Front Desk/Scheduler (preferred)
