Packaging Technician

Job description

Position Summary:

The Packaging Technician will package medical devices in a cleanroom environment, ensuring adherence to GMP and quality standards. The role includes operating packaging equipment, inspecting materials, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Pay:

  • 19/hr

Shift:

  • Monday- Thursday (6am-4:30pm)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Package medical devices per specifications and GMP standards.
  • Operate and maintain packaging equipment.
  • Inspect products for defects and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
  • Report any deviations or issues to the Packaging Supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain accurate batch records and production logs.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety in the work area.
  • Assist in troubleshooting packaging equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging role, preferably in medical devices.
  • Knowledge of GMP and medical device regulatory requirements.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
