HIRING an overnight Pharmacist! Medix Healthcare is looking for a candidate with a PharmD degree (open to RPh) and Hospital Pharmacy experience!
Requirements:
Degree: PharmD or RPh
Years of Exp: Hospital pharmacy experience (or at least engaged in some form of clinical advancement enrolled in a clinical program)
Position Summary:
Location: Worcester, MA 01605 Pay: 88-159k depending on experience
Schedule: 10 hr shift, 7 days on, 7 days off, 70 hrs a week (paid for 80 hrs). Shift: Staggered shifts 9pm-7am Mon-Sun OR 7:30pm-7am Sat, Sun, 10pm-7am Mon-Fri. Duration: Direct Hire
Position Description:
The clinical pharmacist provides comprehensive medication management services that integrate clinical services, order management, patient/staff education and research. Clinical pharmacists are responsible for improving the patient's experience, safety, and achieving positive clinical and financial outcomes. This position is responsible to an immediate supervisor/manager.
Major Responsibilities:
The following key performance areas (Clinical, Operations/Distribution, Financial, Safety and Regulatory, Research and Education) are performed by the clinical pharmacist:
Clinical Performance
Review patient medication history, educate patients on drug therapy, establish desired outcomes, develop/modify therapeutic plans, determine alternatives for achieving outcomes, develop drug monitoring plans, monitor patient outcomes, document medication related issues in electronic health record, interpret laboratory data, review patient medication profiles, monitor pharmacokinetics of drug therapy, monitoring for potential adverse drug - drug, drug-lab, drug-disease state, and drug - food interactions.
