Job description

Hiring Pharmacy Technicians!

We're hiring a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to be part of our dedicated team providing essential support in managing medication orders for our facilities. If you are passionate about healthcare, thrive in a customer service role, and have an eye for detail, we want you on our team! You'll be responsible for ensuring accurate data entry, third-party billing, and offering top-tier customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional service to our assigned facilities, resolving any issues that may arise
  • Data Entry: Accurately input medication orders and patient information into our system
  • Billing: Ensure all third-party claims are billed properly and crediting is done accurately each month
  • Training & Development: Help orient and train new employees to ensure smooth operations
  • Travel: Occasionally visit individual homes for meetings or medication exchanges
  • Ongoing Learning: Stay up-to-date with mandatory training to meet industry standards
  • Other Duties: Be ready to pitch in where needed and contribute to a collaborative environment\

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience in pharmacy or healthcare customer service is preferred
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, excellent organization, and the ability to multi-task
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using computers, including data entry and keyboarding
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with medications and medical orders is a plus
  • Education: High school diploma or GED (minimum), a degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus
  • Must-Haves: Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening

Schedule:

  • Generally expect to work about 2 closing shifts per week OR 1 closing shift and 1 mid shift each week
  • Opening Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00/5:30 PM
  • Closing Shift: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
  • Mid Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Weekend Rotation: Work every 4 weekends (with options to take weekdays off or earn overtime)
