Job description

Location: Maple Grove, MN

We are currently hiring for an Operator I position at a medical device manufacturing organization in Maple Grove, MN.

Shift time:

  • Monday - Thursday
    • 6am-3:30pm (9 hour shifts)
  • Friday
    • 6am-10am (half day every Friday!)

Position Title: Operator I

The Operator I will engage in three critical phases of the manufacturing process. Initially, the individual will handle and thaw incoming plasma. The next step involves freeze-drying the plasma. Finally, the operator will package the freeze-dried plasma with sterile water and tubing.



Responsibilities

  • Operate and adjust machinery/equipment according to SOP, including packaging and labeling.
  • Use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, rulers, and other gauges to meet high-quality standards.
  • Document process data and parameters as required by GMP.
  • Recognize when processes are out of specification and notify a Technician.
  • Adhere to QA Procedures and Requirements.
  • Follow Safety and Manufacturing Procedures.


Education / Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is highly preferred with 2-3 years experience
  • Bachelor degree with 1-2 years experience
  • GMP experience is a must!






Working Conditions / Physical Demands

  • 10% of tasks involve persistent walking/carrying.
  • 90% of tasks involve sitting/standing.
  • Consistent lifting (2-20 lbs, up to 50 lbs maximum).
