Oncology Patient Navigator (RN, PA, NP)

Job description

We are hiring for Patient Navigators- Must be an RN, NP or PA with Oncolgoy or Hematology experience. This is a great opportunity for a mainly remote/ hybrid role in the Tempe, AZ area! This is a great opportunity and abiltiy to make an impact but also have grea autonomy.

Schedule:

    • 3 different shifts that we are looking to fill:
      • 8-5 (EST) - 13
      • 9-6 (EST) - 9
      • 11-8 (EST) - 10
  • 3 weeks remote, 1 week onsite, within 90 miles of the office

Requirenments: Must live within 90 miles of the office

Must be an NP RN or PA with oncology or hematology exp (3 years)

Soft skills:

  • Looking for an empathy piece - how do you deal? Grieving process, how do you keep patient engaged and make sure they pick up the phone

Overview:

  • Telephonic support
  • Single point of contact
  • Must live within 90 miles of office
  • Looking for Skill - opportunity to help throughout the journey with the patients
  • RN, BSN - can be a PA/NP
  • Hematology/Oncology experience
  • Covers breast cancer drug
  • CML - Chronic Myeloid Leukemia
  • Just need oncology for 3 years at some point
  • 8-10 week training program (they will want them in house as many days as possible)
  • Help walk the patient through the journey the moment that the physician decides to the point where they start taking the product
  • Helps with dosage, guidance, referring patient back to physician, here for support and information that we provide
  • Here to support through payer journey as well
  • Patient population - younger women/men, could be early signs of breast cancer
  • KPI - depends on when the patient is actually assigned. Then, we have specific timelines that they want patients to meet to get them to mediciaton
  • Ex - referral comes in, patient chart should be created within 4 hours, review it, sent it out to payer, once we know what next steps will be after reimbursement specialist contacts patient within 24 hours, also contacts the office so they are in lock step with the office
  • Goal - get patient on therapy as quickly as possible

Pay:

$130-175k+ (based on years of experience)
