Job description

Oncology Financial Navigator - Atlanta, GA

Job Responsibilities

As an Oncology Financial Navigator, you will be responsible for working alongside a physician and will handle all patient requests pertaining to drug authorization, specialty scheduling, assist patient with apply for funding/insurance copays, and assisting with FMLA/Long Term Disability paperwork. You will also assist with calls received from clinics, pharmacies, and the front desk, and you will need to be able to assist as needed.

Other responsibilities of the Oncology Financial Navigator include:
  • Working alongside a physician and will handle all patient requests pertaining to drug authorization, specialty scheduling, assist patient with apply for funding/insurance copays, and assisting with FMLA/Long Term Disability paperwork.

  • Assist with calls received from clinics, pharmacies, and the front desk, and will need to be able to assist as needed.

  • It is preferred that this individual has experience with ICD 10 coding.

Pay Rate: $24hr.-$25hr.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
Location: Atlanta, GA
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of medical office experience
  • Experience with specialty scheduling
  • Must be very computer savvy
