Job description

HIRING FOR OFFICE ADMINISTRATION/PRIOR AUTHORIZATION SPECIALIST ROLE IN EAST MEADOW

Specific Duties:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, assessing healthcare needs and providing exceptional customer service to patients, team members, and referral sources.
  • Manage office workflow, including clinician scheduling, authorizations, and branch operations, while coordinating practitioner schedules to ensure proper coverage.
  • Assist with answering phones, greeting patients, patient intake, data entry, and maintaining accurate, complete patient files.
  • Obtain, verify, and pre-authorize insurance information, process daily claim billing, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of documentation.
  • Counsel patients on financial responsibilities, secure credit agreements for outstanding balances, and provide status updates to patients and internal teams.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of Office Administrative experience
  • Prior Authorization experience
