Location: San Bernardino, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:45 AM - 5:30 PM

Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nutritionist to join our team in San Bernardino. This role focuses on addressing food insecurity within the community by conducting nutritional assessments, developing personalized care plans, and providing education to improve clients' health and access to essential resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment: Conduct nutritional screenings, assessments, and periodic reassessments to evaluate client nutritional status, with a focus on those experiencing food insecurity. Verify client income eligibility.
  • Nutritional Referrals & Planning: Create and implement nutritional care plans and meal plans tailored to clients' needs. Support clients in accessing food resources, healthcare services, and community programs. Monitor and evaluate client progress toward goals.
  • Resources, Education & Training: Plan and facilitate educational workshops focused on health and nutrition. Provide clients with resources for community food and nutrition services. Collect and analyze data related to client health outcomes and food access.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in program evaluation and quality assurance processes. Maintain accurate client nutrition records, document daily services, and prepare regular reports.
  • Timekeeping: Accurately record hours worked in the Stratus Time System.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Dietitian licensed in California (newly licensed professionals welcome).
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Commitment to supporting underserved populations and addressing food insecurity.
