Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

Location: Greater Los Angeles Area (Santa Monica, West Lake Village, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, etc), San Fernando Valley, Riverside/San Bernadino, South Bay, Ventura County (Camarillo, Moorepark, Thousand Oaks, etc), Santa Clarita Valley


Employment Type: Full-Time (3/12s) or Part-Time (2/12s)
Compensation: $80 - $82/hr (W2) with room for growth.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our expanding urgent care team. In this role, you will provide top-notch medical care to patients in a fast-paced setting, delivering high-quality diagnoses and treatments for a variety of urgent care needs. You will be working with a team of experienced professionals and utilizing the Experity EMR system to document patient interactions efficiently.

Schedule:

  • Full-Time: 8am - 8pm, 3 days per week (3/12s)
  • Part-Time: 8am - 8pm, 2 days per week (2/12s) or 8am - 2pm (6-hour shift)
  • Weekend availability required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide urgent care services, including examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Efficiently document all patient interactions using the Experity EMR system.
  • Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Conduct patient assessments, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all medical regulations and protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Physician Assistant (PA):
    • NCCPA Certification required.
    • Current California Physician Assistant License (pocket card required at credentialing).
    • Current DEA Certificate with California address.
    • Strong ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP):
    • AANPCB or ANCC Certification required.
    • Current California State Nursing License issued by the CA Board of Registered Nursing.
    • Current NP Certificate issued by the CA Board of Registered Nursing.
    • Proof of Furnishing Number issued by the CA Board of Registered Nursing.
    • Current DEA Certificate with California address.
  • Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family practice is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple patients and prioritize tasks effectively.
