Job description

We are hiring! Nurse Practitioners or PAs!

Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner OR Occupational Health PA

Job Summary: This position is responsible for safeguarding the health and well-being of employees in a manufacturing setting, conducting lead screenings for adults. They collaborate with stakeholders to create a safe work environment and provide medical services, education, and preventive care. This role operates Monday to Friday from 6am to 2pm.

Pay: Varies on experience and licensure - typically between $58-72/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Perform health assessments, including lead screenings, to identify and manage occupational health risks.
  • Address injuries and illnesses, provide immediate care, and ensure proper treatment.
  • Develop health education programs, including lead exposure awareness, to promote workplace safety.
  • Administer screenings and vaccinations, monitor employee health, and manage cases.
  • Identify workplace hazards, recommend solutions, and assist in emergency planning.
  • Maintain accurate records, document incidents, and generate reports for compliance.
  • Consult employees on health concerns, regulations, and necessary medical attention.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to prioritize employee well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license and certification OR PA license
  • Specialized training in occupational health a plus but not required
  • Strong understanding of health regulations and safety standards.
  • Effective communication and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Experience in case management, health education, and preventive care.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records.

Note: This role operates Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm, and focuses on lead screenings for adults in a manufacturing environment.
