Requirements

Summary: The Nurse Manager will be responsible for 8-10 RN's, in addition to ensuring leadership in all clinical nursing operations by facilitating success measures that enhance clinical strategic goals and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, other duties may be assigned.

As a Nurse Manager, you will...

  • Provide oversight to all nurse team members in support of developing and implementing goals and objectives for nurse operations in conjunction with the ASC.
  • Plan, coordinate and direct nursing care and related nursing activities to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that systems and processes are in place to maintain accreditation.
  • Assist in the development of plans for cost containment in all clinical areas.
  • Assist management as a SME for all aspects of nursing standards, in addition to best clinical practices.
  • Enhance patient flow by proactively coordinating with their departments for patient care.
  • Ensure nursing staff is knowledgeable regarding the procedures performed, and able to support family and caregivers throughout the process.
  • Evaluate outcomes and adjust nursing care processes as necessary, consulting with nursing staff and physicians.
  • Orientation and training for all clinical staff, ensuring appropriate documentation.
  • Develop and implement operational budgets that meet resource needs.
  • Monitor patient, physician and patient satisfaction; coordinating performance improvements when necessary.
  • Maintain positive relations with all patients, physicians and staff to ensure company values are practiced daily.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Active Registered License - State of California (Unrestricted)
  • 2+ Years of Lead and/or Charge Nurse Experience
  • Specialty Experience (GI, Ortho, Spine, ENT, Pain Management, Ophthalmology, etc)

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic office equipment such as: "EMR" - (electronic medical record system), Microsoft Office, computer, internet, email, copy and fax machines, and telephone.
