Nurse Manager - Pediatrics Department

Overview:

• Take a pivotal role in managing a high-volume Pediatric Department, serving over 8,000 patients and their families. Lead, evaluate, and supervise a team of dedicated nurses and medical assistants in a busy, dynamic pediatric practice. Collaborate closely with the Office Administrator and Practice Ownership to provide exceptional patient care. Manage vaccine program following the state vaccine unit guidelines. Oversee quality control of lab maintenance, meet monthly with lab consultant. Manage medical supply ordering for the practice. Attend meetings with office administrators and nurse managers from other APP practices. Work closely with front desk team to help manage scheduling of patients.
• Staff Supervision: 9 direct reports with 6 nurses, 2 MA's, and 1 Lab Tech
• Manage vaccine program
• Will be asked to jump in and help with patient care

Must Have Skills/Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of pediatric nursing experience
• RN MA Licence
• Experience working in an Ambulatory Setting

Nice to Have Skill:

• 2-3 years of managerial experience in an Ambulatory setting

Schedule/Shift:

Monday - Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm. 1 hour lunch
Possible weekend shifts (every other weekend). Schedule will be built out.

Pay Rate:

$100,000.00 - $114,400.00/year
