Mount Vernon, WA (On-Site)


Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Compensation: $42.07 - $58.89 per hour
Employment Type: 1040 hours working on Contract until opportunity to go permanent
Work Setting: Outpatient Imaging Facility

The team consists of fifteen radiologists, a radiology physician assistant, and a group of technologists and administrative staff. We are committed to excellence in imaging services and patient care.

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing MRI and X-ray examinations with precision and efficiency, ensuring the highest quality imaging for diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role requires both independent work and strong teamwork skills to maintain an optimal patient care experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions based on radiologist protocols.
  • Conduct X-ray imaging as ordered by the referring physician.
  • Screen patients, complete consent forms, and thoroughly explain procedures.
  • Administer contrast agents under radiologist supervision.
  • Maintain patient comfort, care, and safety throughout exams.
  • Ensure timely image processing and documentation into PACS.
  • Communicate with front desk staff regarding schedule changes or patient flow adjustments.
  • Enforce MRI magnetic field safety protocols for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshooting, coordinating maintenance as needed.
  • Attend team meetings, adhering to all policies and mandatory learning requirements.
  • Support other imaging modalities as needed and assist radiologists with procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification.
  • ARRT Certification in MRI.
  • Current BLS Certification.

  • Proficient in IV insertion.
  • Confident in performing diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced environment.
