Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to provide contract coverage for their southwest territory. This position is designed to support additional staffing needs due to FMLA and PTO absences.

Job Duties/Responsibiltes

  • Perform high-quality MRI exams while ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Administer contrast safely and effectively as needed.
  • Operate MRI equipment proficiently to produce high-quality images, adjusting parameters such as TR, TE, and field of view.
  • Guide patients through the process with clear communication and compassionate support.
  • Address physician inquiries and safeguard patient property, health information, and on-site medications per company policies.
  • Maintain professionalism and respect for patient boundaries, cultural sensitivities, and company property.
  • Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and coworkers in a clinical setting.

Requirements:

  • ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
  • Must have BLS certification
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred

Schedule/ Shift: 4 shifts (10 hours or Monday through Friday) *occasional Saturday coverage
