MRI Scheduler

Medix Staffing Agency is hiring an MRI Scheduler for a reputable Medical Group in the Walnut Creek, CA area.

Duties:

• Handling inbound and outbound calls
• Calls are pertaining to scheduling patients for MRIs
• On the call they will schedule the appointment and confirm with the patient that their insurance information hasn't changed since the prior authorization was obtained
• Each call lasts 5-10 minutes
• Working on Epic EMR
• They will work in the centralized call center (team of 8 people) in the Bay Medical Management corporate office

Location/Hours:

• Hours: 9:30am-6pm Monday-Friday
• 100% onsite role

Pay Scale:

• 1-2 years experience: $24.78
• 2-3 years: $26.23
• 3-5 years: $27.69
• 5+ years: $29.16

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications

• 1 year medical administrative experience (scheduling, registration, patient access, medical front office, etc)
• Typing skills 40-60 WPM (please send talent 1 minute typing assessment)
• Good customer service skills
• Have background using some sort of EMR system (doesn't matter which one)

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience scheduling MRIs
• Experience with Epic EMR
