Job description

Job Title: Mobile Sonographer / Rad Tech (MA / NH)

Client Location: Norwood, MA

Work Location: Flexible around MA & NH. (There are dispatch vehicle sites in Wilmington, Taunton, Manchester, Randolph, and Norwood).



Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

Sonographers

  • Perform a variety of Ultrasound exams and electronically send them to a Radiologist for interpretation as dispatched.
  • Communicate comfortably and clearly with patient to explain the procedure, answer questions and relay information about what to expect during the procedure.
  • Communicate any necessary information to the radiologist or management.
  • Communicate efficiently and professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
  • Complete ultrasound technician worksheets that explain test findings to the physician
  • Identify and document results that may indicate the need for immediate medical attention.
  • Maintain required State licenses/ARDMS Card, health requirements, and operational requirements.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Clock in and out for shifts as per protocol.
  • Maintain company vehicle (if applicable) and equipment cleanliness.
  • Train other Sonographers as required.
  • Demonstrate regular attendance.

Rad Techs:

  • Perform X-Rays and transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Perform EKGs and transmit EKGs to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
  • Demonstrate regular attendance.
  • Communicate efficiently and perform professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
  • Maintain required State licenses/ARRT Card, health requirements, and operational requirements.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and maintenance schedule through Supervisors and Fleet.
  • Train other technologists as required.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Sonographers

  • RDMS certification and state license where required.
  • Graduate of an Ultrasound technology program.

Rad Techs

  • A.R.R.T. certified and state licensed where applicable.
  • Graduate of a radiological technology program.

General (Both)

  • Valid driver's license in the applicable state and in good current standing.
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Successful background check and drug screening.

Schedule/ Shift: Flexible openings (days, evenings, weekends) - 20 hour minimum preferred
