Certified Medical Technologist

The Medical Technologist will join a small CLIA lab team at a passionate non-profit organization (not a hospital lab!) that helps countless patients.

Weekdays-Only Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs 9:30am-7pm + every other Friday (8:30am-5pm)

This certified Medical Technologist will perform Hematology and Flow Cytometry analysis on patient samples.

• Process, examine, and test patient samples using a flow cytometer and hematology analyzer, and document test results according to GDP and GMP.
• Perform data analysis of processed samples.
• Manage Send-out tests, testing supplies, reagents, etc.
• Check quality control and verify test method ranges for standards and references. Maintain / troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Collaborate with and assist other laboratory team members as needed.

• Must be a certified Medical Technologist and have Flow Cytometry experience
• Florida state certified Medical Technologist (Medical Laboratory Technologist certification)
• Hands-on experience conducting Flow Cytometry, using a flow cytometer
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to follow written procedures and work processes.
• Proficient computer skills, communication skills, and customer service skills.

• Position is Contract-to-Hire
• Weekdays-only schedule means no weekends or holidays
• CLIA Lab team size of 5-6 people
