Medical Receptionist (Onsite)

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Greet patients with a smile and a positive attitude
* Check-in all patients obtaining accurate and up-to-date demographic and insurance information at each patient visit
*Verify the scanned card images are current
* Work with the billing office as needed to ensure proper entry of patient insurance
information
* Assist with insurance verification of new patients and established patients with new
insurance
* Identify and collect all patient portion (i.e., co-payment, co-ins., deductible, etc..) from all
patients, as required
* Assist with telephone calls as needed both in-bound and outbound

Clinic Locations: Round Rock, TX (3x a week) & Cedar Park, TX (2x a week)

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8a-5pm *no weekends, ONSITE ROLE/NOT REMOTE*

Pay Range: Based on experience + Full Time Benefits Offered

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS (experience, education, and skills)
* Minimum one-two years of experience in a healthcare/clinic setting.
* Patient Representative experience required
* Basic knowledge of insurance plans, including Medicare & Medicaid.
* Proficiency in computer software use, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills.
