Job description

Job Title: Medical Receptionist

Pay: $18-24/hr

Available Location(s): Newton, MA


  • Provide support to a high-volume practice by performing administrative functions.
  • Demonstrate and provide exemplary customer service to patients, peers, physicians, and company departments.
  • Effectively utilize various computer systems and adapt to new programs as needed.
  • Answer multiple telephone lines, take calls, screen, relay messages, and provide information to callers.
  • Work within the electronic medical record system for scheduling patients and communicating with others within the practice.
  • Schedule appointments within the department.
  • Perform general practice tasks as assigned by Practice Specialist and Practice Manager.
  • Open to candidates with customer service experience; emphasis on the candidate's personality and willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Responsible for all administrative duties of assigned Providers, including checking in/out, answering phone calls, managing work queues, and providing additional admin support as required by the Doctor.

Job qualifications include:

  • High school diploma (required)
  • Ability to multitask
  • EPIC experience - required
  • Customer service experience (ideally call center, access, etc. )
