Job description

Clinic Overview: This clinic handles Cardiology cases, consultations, and procedures at Heart and Vascular Institute. The front desk receptionist will be working in a fast paced environment - and with a wide variety of individuals between homeless to VIP patients. Providers will be floating in the clinic and at the hospital for procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Check in and check-out cardiology patients
  • Prep charts for providers with patient demographic information
  • Insurance eligibility
  • Monitor message pools and faxes
  • Obtain referrals
  • Prior authorizations
  • Inbound and outbound phone calls
  • Support the clinic, providers, and patients as needed
  • Patient volume: busiest days are 60-70 patients, slower days are 40 patients, Fridays are usually catch up days
Must Have Skills/Qualifications:
  • Customer Service experience
  • 6+ months of call center or front office experience in fast paced environment
  • High School diploma
  • Great ATTENDANCE
Schedule/Shift:

First 3 months of training schedule M-F 8AM-4:30PM, after training schedule M-F 8:30AM-5PM (will go over schedule in interview)

Pay:

$18-$19/hr
