Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic team at our Ophthalmology Center. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming environment.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar.
• Verify patient information and update records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Collect patient co-pays and process insurance information accurately.
• Assist patients with inquiries regarding services, insurance coverage, and billing.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and communication.
• Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organized and presentable.
• Handle correspondence, including emails and mail, related to patient care and inquiries.
• Assist with other administrative duties as needed, including filing and data entry.
