Job description

We are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist for one of the nation's top hospital facilities. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is excited to have an opportunity to be part of a well-renowned healthcare center. This posiiton is a full time role located in Bayonne, NJ. Below is the description of what the position would entail:
  • Spends the majority of time supporting administrative functions.
  • Maintains office in neat and orderly manner.
  • Acts as department receptionist greeting and directing visitors and patients.
  • Calls patients to schedule appointments, missed appointments,
  • Assists with all necessary data entry as assigned. Photocopies, as requested and within time frames.
  • Receives copayments from managed care patients and provides receipts
  • Answers unit telephone, transferring calls, determining when staff members should be paged and taking and/or forwarding messages.
RequirementsThe job qualifcations include:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of administrative experience
  • Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)
  • College degree (Preferred)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (Preferred)
