Position Title: Department Assistant Receptionist

Location: McAllen, TX 78501

Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Department Assistant Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong background in a medical office setting.

Specific Duties:

1. Greet patients warmly and professionally.
2. Coordinate patient flow efficiently.
3. Call patients to schedule appointments.
4. Call patients to confirm appointments.
5. Manage the schedule and electronic medical records (EMR).

Must-Have Qualifications/Experience:

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Minimum of 3 years of related work experience, including data entry.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical office setting.
4. Ability to read and interpret office forms and insurance cards, and understand referrals.
5. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Shift:
Start Time: 8:00 AM
End Time: 5:00 PM
