Medical Receptionist

Medix is a Joint Commission Certified staffing company who helps some of the top Hospitals and Clinics in the Indianapolis area hire for their Medical Receptionist openings. This specific Medical Receptionist (PSR) is an urgent request and we are looking to get people interviewing ASAP!

Job Description:

• Duties include: Greeting patients upon arrival Collecting ID's Demographic information Pre registration Reviewing chart prior to appt ensuring all necessary information is collected review all faxes online (no fax machine) & update patient files validate/confirm insurance
  Can expect 15-20 patients/day
  Inbound/outbound calls: confirming/cancelling/scheduling appts, patient questions, filtering calls to Provider/back office when necessary

Estimated pay rate:

$17 / hour - $20 / Hour - Completely based upon experience

Qualifications:

1+ Year Medical Assistant Experience Required

Certified Medical Assistant Preferred

Medical Assistant Diploma Preferred
