Position Overview: The Medical Receptionist is tasked with fundamental administrative duties, including managing incoming calls, welcoming patients into the office, and arranging appointments in a professional and efficient manner. They oversee the progression of patients through the intake and checkout processes, encompassing tasks like patient registration, check-in and check-out procedures, as well as managing payments such as co-payments, deductibles, and outstanding balances. Additionally will handle filing and maintenance of medical records. The role involves maintaining a courteous and consistent telephone manner, adhering to proper phone etiquette, and managing a high volume of calls. The position requires the ability to multitask and a working knowledge of healthcare systems operations, including EMR. (IN PERSON)

Qualifications: Recent Healthcare Experience

Location: Bethpage, New York

Schedule: Hours are full time, Monday - Friday, between 8am - 6pm (Need flexiblity between these hours/40 hour work week)
