Medical Office Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and capable Medical Office Specialist to facilitate a positive experience for our patients and team. This position is responsible for routine clinical and administrative tasks focused around our interventional pain department to help deliver an outstanding and efficient patient experience in a fast-paced environment. As you learn and grow in the role, you will have the opportunity to learn multiple positions - front desk, patient rooming and check out - to become an integral part of our team.

Basic Duties:

• Check-in, rooming, check-out - will rotate functions
• Check-in duties: Smiling & greeting patients with a positive attitude, collect demographics, completion of visit paperwork, obtain insurance, set expectations around wait time
• Rooming duties: doing vitals (Height, weight, blood pressure), and intake questions (medical history, medication history, etc.)
• Check-out duties: Scheduling follow up appointment, ordering of tests, coordinating any referrals to specialists, etc.
• Can expect 40-50 patients per a day

Pay $17 to $20 an hour based on previous experience, weekly pay

Location - Carmel IN

Full time, Monday to Friday 8AM to 4:30PM
