About the Role:

We are looking for Medical Lab Technicians (MLT) and Medical Technologists (MT) who thrive in fast-paced hospital labs and are passionate about accurate diagnostics.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hematology, microbiology, immunology, and chemistry tests.
  • Analyze blood, urine, and other body fluids for abnormalities.
  • Prepare specimens using automated and manual techniques.
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Work closely with physicians and nurses to provide timely, accurate test results.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Certification (One of the following):
    • MT: Bachelor's degree + certification (ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS/HEW).
    • MLT: Associate's degree + certification (ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS/HEW).
    • Military program graduates with certification accepted.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1 year of hospital-based lab experience (new grads with clinical rotations and certification considered).
    • Must pass a color-acuity screening test before hiring.

Schedule & Pay Expectations:

  • Monday-Sunday coverage with rotating weekends (full weekend required, two days off during the week).
  • $20s/hr: 1+ years of experience, new graduates with certification.
  • $30-40/hr: Advanced levels to senior levels of experience.
