Job description
Medix is hiring for a Full-Time Medical Receptionist in the St. Louis area!
Overview:
- Register patients and update information as needed
- Verify patient insurance and process prior authorizations/pre-certifications
- Collect patient copayments
- Schedule patietn appointments and answer inbound calls
- Prepare all billings for processing, etc.
Schedule: M-F 8:15-5:00 PM (need to be flexible here!)
Location: St. Louis, MO 63110
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience as a Medical Receptionist
- Associate's degree preferred
- Ability to handle problems involving patients and maintain a customer oriented attitute
