Job Title: Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Contract Type: Indefinite full time contract with the opportunity to go permanent

Location: Manhasset, New York

Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk, scheduling patient appointments, and providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors in person and over the phone. The Medical Front Desk Receptionist will also handle administrative tasks, such as maintaining patient records and verifying insurance forms. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office environment.


  • Greet and check-in patients, verifying necessary information and documentation.
  • Schedule appointments for patients.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages and providing information to callers as needed.
  • Maintain patient records and update necessary information in the EMR system.
  • Handle insurance forms and verify insurance coverage for patients.
  • Collect co-payments.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room.
  • Assist patients with filling out necessary forms and paperwork.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the management.

Schedule: Full time: Monday - Friday, 9am -5pm (Ideally someone who is flexible to come in early/stay late if needed)
