Job description

We are seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Front Desk Patient Coordinators. This is an excellent opportunity to start or grow a career in healthcare with a reputable organization that values employee growth and development.

Responsibilities: As a Patient Coordinator, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment and balancing multiple responsibilities, including patient check-ins, scheduling, and insurance verification.

  • Greet and check in patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Verify insurance details and process co-pays.
  • Schedule appointments and manage referrals.
  • Provide exceptional in-person customer service.
  • Handle minimal phone responsibilities (most calls are routed to the call center).
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with office workflows.

Location: Will work at 1 main location & have 2 secondary float locations

  • Main Location: St. Peter's MO, 63376 or Saint Louis, MO 63128

Pay: $16.00-20.00/hr based on experience

  • $16-17 - no experience
  • $17-18 - 1 year exprience
  • $18+ - 2+ year expereince

Schedule: During Training M-F 8 AM - 4:30 PM

  • After training: 7:30-4:00, 8:00-4:30, 8:30-5:00, or 9:00-5:30 -- flexible shift options!
  • 1 Saturday a month 6:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to provide a warm welcoming environment & a positive attitude
  • Good tenure in previous roles (not job hoppy)
