Medical Front Desk

Medix is hiring for Medical Receptionists in St. Louis, MO for one of the leading imaging clinics! This role will require going to different clinic locations in the Greater St. Louis area! Great opportunity to work within a specialty healthcare clinic and gain experience!

Role Overview:

• Check patients in and out of clinic, upon arrival and departure
• Handle patient registration and input data into EMR system (NextGen)
• Schedule patients for new appointments and follow up appointments
• Verify patient insurance and collect patient copayments as needed
• Communicate with clinical staff and assist as needed

Schedule: Training will be M-F 8:00-4:30 (after this period you can pick your shift!)

• Shift 1: 6:30, 7:00, or 7:30am start depending on First Patient (8 hours from there)
• Shift 2: 8-4:30
• Shift 3: 8:30-5
• Shift 4: 9-5:30

Pay: $15-20/hr

• Great Tenure in Past Positions
• Healthcare experience is a plus! If you don't have any healthcare you will be in the $15-17/hr pay range!
