Job description
Medix is hiring a Medical Front Desk in the Overland Park, KS / Merriam, KS (66204) areas for a dermatology / ENT clinic!
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Check Patients in & Check Patients Out
- Verify patient's benefit eligibility
- Verify insurance
- Collect Patient Demographics
- Schedule patient appointments
- Answer phones
- May help prepare rooms or stock rooms but rarely
- See about 20-100 patients a day depending on the providers workload. They also have to answer phones, so need to be able to multitask
*They really want someone with a bright bubbly personality and that's highly motivated and professional
Education and Experience:
- Strong customer service experience
- Medical Office experience HIGHLY preferred
- Scheduling experience
- Open to going to different offices when needed
- Friendly/Welcoming
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Need to be flexible to stay until 5:30pm some days)
Setting: Clinic
Locations: Overland Park, KS and Merriam, KS (Flexible to float)
