Job description
Role: Medical Collector
Hours: Full time, CST Monday - Friday
Pay: $21- $24/h
Remote
Contract Indefinte
Experience: Must have recent NextGen and Physcian experience
- 1 year insurance follow up experience
- 1 year of appeals
What You Will Do
- Use Corporate resources to correctly research patient accounts and take appropriate action with open balances.
- Claim status by calling or visiting the insurance company's website.
- Ability to follow through on claims and appeal submissions.
- Ability to read and comprehend insurance remits.
- Ability to dispute open balance and take clean and concise notes about claim status and actions taken.
- Support in identifying and communicating with the AR manager concerning payer issues and workflow inconsistencies.
- Basic understanding of Commercial, Medicare, Manager care and Medicaid Insurance and revenue cycle
- Assist with Client inquiries and help and guidance.
- Analytical tasks will include routine and ad hoc reporting to support internal operations.
