Job description

We are hiring for a Call Center Representative to join our team in the Middletwn, CT area. We are seeking candidates who are a team player, organized, and someone who is both reliable and responsible.

Overview

PURPOSE: Serves as initial point of contact through our call center to register all new patients and direct current patients - utilizing skills of tact, compassion, and confidentiality in a professional manner.

  • ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Manage calls from patients requiring medical care and provide / gather information needed
    • Take electronic messages and convey information to respective medical care providers
    • Screen and transfer calls to the appropriate person/department
    • Assign pending documents into a patient's chart within the EMR system
    • Provide excellent customer service
    • Other duties as assigned by managers and leads

Requirements:

  • 1+ year(s) customer service experience
  • 1+ years expereince taking a high call volume
  • High School Diploma - REQUIRED
  • Someone who is reliable
