What You'll Do:

As a key member of our billing team, you will:

• Submit Claims: Utilize your expertise in ICD and HCPCS codes to process claims accurately.
• Manage Payments: Post electronic and cash payments and ensure patient accounts are up-to-date.
• Prior Authorizations: Secure prior authorizations for injectable medications and collaborate with specialty pharmacies.
• Resolve Issues: Work through denials and communicate effectively with insurance companies to resolve any billing concerns.
• Audit & Review: Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance and accuracy between encounter forms and medical records.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: A few years of medical billing experience, preferably in a physician practice setting.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in practice management software; experience with NextGen is a plus.
