Medical Billing Specialist

Job description

Responsibilities
* Analyze and correct denials efficiently.
* Each biller is assigned about three providers.
* Post payments and interpret remittance advice.
* Write appeals, reconsiderations, and corrected claims.
* Handle the entire revenue cycle, including claims processing, payment posting, and patient phone calls.

Qualifications
* Familiarity with CMS 1500 forms.
* Reliable and professional demeanor.
* Strong skills in denial analysis and resolution.
* Ability to analyze and resolve claim denials effectively.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in full revenue cycle medical billing.
* Familiarity with eClinicalWorks, Office Ally (EHR 24/7 & Practice Mate).

Schedule
* Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 5:00pm, Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm

Pay
* $18 to $25 an hour
