Job description

As a Medical Biller, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate billing processes and supporting healthcare providers with efficient revenue cycle management. Key responsibilities include:

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with physician offices, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

  • Possess a solid understanding of physician billing practices, ICD-10, and CPT coding.

  • Analyze provider documentation to assign the appropriate Evaluation & Management levels with the correct CPT code.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support billing operations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in electronic billing submissions.

  • Knowledge of coding standards and clinic operating policies.

  • Familiarity with third-party billing procedures across various payer systems.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Compensation & Location:

  • Pay range: $23 - $26 per hour.

  • Work location: Richmond Hill, New York 11418

Schedule:

  • Standard shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

  • Flexible option: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM after the initial 3-week training period, which is mandatory from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
