DURATION: 6 MONTH CONTRACT TO DIRECT HIRE INTO BAPTIST MEDICAL NETWORK

Pay Rate: $16/hr - $20/hr + full time benefits (Based On years of experience/specialty)

Tentative Start Date/Notice: can start ASAP once cleared compliance / 2 weeks notice
Interview Availability: ASAP / Must clear drug test & background check

Responsibilities:

• All back office duties - Chart prep, rooming patients, documenting & scribing into Athena, varicose vein procedures, applying UnnaBoot (a compression bandage that's used to treat venous ulcers and other leg issues), triage, also will code for procedures and will be trained, CPT/ICD 10 knowledge will help, lace procedures, injections,
• Medical assistant position responsible for providing direct nursing care in a medical office setting under the direction of a physician, assists medical providers, and maintains a clean and safe environment in accordance with the policies and procedures of the practice
• Assists in the assessment of patient needs and health plan
• Completes all necessary documentation in the patient's medical record in accordance with practice's charting policy
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians with medical treatments, exams and medical procedures
• Arranges for specialized consultations and appointments for testing as ordered by the physicians
