Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our dermatology team in a fast-paced clinic environment. As a CMA, you will be responsible for rooming patients, managing in-basket messages, scheduling appointments, assisting providers with procedures, and performing various clinical back-office tasks. Your ability to work collaboratively with providers and other team members will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Room Patients: Efficiently room patients and prepare them for examinations and procedures.
  • In-Basket Management: Manage in-basket messages, including patient communications, follow-up instructions, and prescription refills.
  • Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments, ensuring optimal clinic flow and patient satisfaction.
  • Assist Providers: Support providers during dermatological procedures by preparing instruments and assisting with patient care.
  • Clinical Back-Office Tasks: Perform various clinical support duties such as stocking rooms, maintaining patient records, and ensuring clinic operations run smoothly.

Requirements:

  • Dermatology Experience: Previous experience in dermatology is required.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA): Must hold a current CMA certification.
  • Team-Oriented: Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment alongside providers and team members.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-energy clinic setting with varying patient needs.

Schedule/Shift:

  • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
  • Shift: 4/10 schedule
  • Shift Start/End Times: Standard clinic hours (specific hours may vary by shift and workload).

Pay:

$24-29 an hour (Depending on experience)
