Overview: Medix is hiring for a Medical Assistant in Lakewood Ranch!
Job Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients
- Triage patients
- EKGs
- Ear lavage
- Injections and vaccines
- Medication refills
- Prior authorizations
- Updating patient records / information
- Sterilizing and stocking patient rooms
- Following up with patients over the phone
- Heavy administrative duties expected
3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications
- 2+ year of clinical MA experience
- Active AHA BLS certification
- Medical Assistant Certification only required 90 days after conversion to FTE
Shift: MF 8:00 - 5:00
Compensation: $18.00 - $24.00/hr
Benefits:
In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
