No certification or diploma is required for this position, however, 1-2 full years of recent and clinical medical assisting experience is required. 1 home base is Wilton, very rare floating to Stamford
1 home base is Greenwich with floating to Stamford and Harrison
1 home base is Stamford with floating to Greenwich and Harrison
Hours: M-F 8-5:00pm (no evenings, no weekends)
Job type: Indefinite contract with the opportunity to switch to permanent

Overview:
The Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming patients, documenting medical history / chief complaints, collecting vitals if necessary, communicating follow-up information with patient and provider, and otherwise generally assisting the provider within the MA scope of practice. Candidates must have exceptional customer service skills, a positive communication style and the ability to problem-solve effectively. Multi-tasking with a high degree of accuracy is essential to providing safe, high quality patient care. At least 1 to 2 years of experience working in an outpatient clinic setting is strongly preferred.
