Bi-Lingual Medical Assistant (Spanish-Speaking) - Women's Health
Location: Lilburn, GA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00/hr
Start Date: April 2025
Employment Type: Contract (1040 hours) with potential for extension or hire
About the Opportunity:
Join a collaborative and well-established women's health practice in the Greater Atlanta area that prioritizes quality care and exceptional patient service. We are seeking a Certified Bi-Lingual Medical Assistant fluent in Spanish and English to support OB/GYN providers in a fast-paced, team-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Interview patients, record medical history, confirm reason for visit
Escort patients to triage and exam rooms
Take vitals, document medications, and update EHR
Assist providers with procedures (e.g., endometrial biopsies, LLETZ)
Administer injections and perform phlebotomy
Stock and maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies
Follow infection control, legal regulations, and practice policies
Maintain logs and perform equipment checks (e.g., emergency meds, eye wash station)
Communicate with professionalism and compassion to ensure top-tier patient care
Required Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (graduated from an accredited program)
Bi-lingual (Spanish and English)
Phlebotomy and injection administration experience
Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical workflow
High school diploma required; some college preferred
EHR experience preferred
Additional Details:
COVID-19 vaccination required (administered on-site if needed)
No weekends
