Bi-Lingual Medical Assistant (Spanish-Speaking) - Women's Health

Location: Lilburn, GA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00/hr
Start Date: April 2025
Employment Type: Contract (1040 hours) with potential for extension or hire

About the Opportunity:
Join a collaborative and well-established women's health practice in the Greater Atlanta area that prioritizes quality care and exceptional patient service. We are seeking a Certified Bi-Lingual Medical Assistant fluent in Spanish and English to support OB/GYN providers in a fast-paced, team-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview patients, record medical history, confirm reason for visit

  • Escort patients to triage and exam rooms

  • Take vitals, document medications, and update EHR

  • Assist providers with procedures (e.g., endometrial biopsies, LLETZ)

  • Administer injections and perform phlebotomy

  • Stock and maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies

  • Follow infection control, legal regulations, and practice policies

  • Maintain logs and perform equipment checks (e.g., emergency meds, eye wash station)

  • Communicate with professionalism and compassion to ensure top-tier patient care

Required Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (graduated from an accredited program)

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish and English)

  • Phlebotomy and injection administration experience

  • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical workflow

  • High school diploma required; some college preferred

  • EHR experience preferred

Additional Details:

  • COVID-19 vaccination required (administered on-site if needed)

  • No weekends
