Medix is currently hiring a Medical Assistant for a local contract to hire position within a primary care clinic in Chicago. This is an awesome opportunity to work for a nationally-recognized, leading voice for community health centers!

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

• Prepare and restock exam rooms, set up equipment, and manage supplies.
• Assist providers directly during patient care and ensure smooth patient flow.
• Perform phlebotomy, administer injections, and take patient vital signs.
• Handle administrative tasks like record-keeping, insurance verifications, and schedule checks.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year Medical Assisting experience is required
• Medical Assistant Certification or Diploma is required
• Bilingual Spanish speaking required
• Phlebotomy experience is a plus!

Schedule/ Shift:

• 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
• 1 Late night per week: Noon to 8:00
• 1 Saturday / Month: 8:00am - 1:00pm
