Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 A.M - 5:00 P.M

(Occasional Tuesday and Thursday 11:30 A.M. - 8:30 P.M. Coverage)

Rotating Weekends: Every Other Saturday - Once A Month Depending

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Diploma
• Ideally 1 Year of Experience
• Bilingual (Spanish)

Job Description

• Take and record vital signs
• Perform: venipuncture; EKG; apply/remove dressings and bandages; collect non-invasive specimens from both adults and children; assist patient in ambulation/transfer; perform simple lab test
• Take Chief Complaints
• Process lab specimens
• Prepare/assist the provider with examination and/or procedures.
• Provide supplemental information to patients or relatives about proper care.
• Sterilization
• Discharge and arrange follow up appointments.
• Assist with translation as needed
