Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Bilingual Medical Assistant to join the team in Franklin Park, IL. This position will primarily focus on front desk coverage, patient intake, and assisting with various clinical and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and will have the ability to handle patients who are experiencing pain, including managing potentially irate situations with empathy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Front Desk Coverage: Greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and handle check-in/check-out procedures.
• Patient Referrals: Assist with the coordination and scheduling of referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers.
• Vitals & Medication Dispensing: Take patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, etc.) and dispense medications as directed by the healthcare provider.
• Clinical & Clerical Support: Perform other clinical or clerical tasks as needed, depending on the patient volume and office capacity.
• Manage Patient Interactions: Work with patients who are in pain or discomfort and manage irate or upset individuals with patience and care.

• Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant certification or Diploma required (if you do not have experience)
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
